2019 Fall Litter Clean-up

Come out and show your Arkansas pride by joining us in a county-wide Fall Litter Clean-up event! The event will take place in 4 different cities and towns in Washington County, including:
Elm Springs- Lake Elmdale Boat Ramp
Farmington- Library
Prairie Grove- Bob Kidd Lake
Springdale- Thunder Chicken Trailhead
Each city will have its own central meeting spot, where participants will begin and end. The site leader for your chosen city will hand out supplies and give directions to participants on where to go for the litter clean-up spots. Everyone will then disperse, collect as much trash as they can in 2 hours, and meet back up at the original location for a group picture with all the trash that was collected. Light refreshments will be provided
Aside from showing off your civic pride to friends and family with all your cool event pics (pic or it didn't happen!) participants will also go home with goodie bags.
What you should bring/wear:
You should also come dressed appropriately in long pants, good shoes, and water shoes as some locations will be creek clean-ups. Come prepared to be in shallow water.
What will be provided:
Gloves, trash bags, snacks and goodies. Limited t-shirts will also be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
