About

Earn 0.5 LW-sponsored community hours every time you drop off items at the recycling center. The local recycling drop-off center in Fayetteville is located at 1420 S Happy Hollow Rd. If you are not in the NWA area this semester, you can still earn hours by dropping off recyclable items at your local recycling center. If you live in an area that offers separate recycling services, hours may still be earned by demonstrating use of those services.

Take a picture - of yourself, the items you are recycling, or both - at the recycling drop-off center. If you live in an area that offers separate recycling services, take a picture demonstrating your use of those services (i.e. placing items in recycling bins).

To submit your hours, click "Add Impact" and complete the required information. You do not need to register for this event. If you have any questions, please email Jenna Wilson at jlw079@uark.edu.
Requirement Details
Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
  1. Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.

  2. Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.

If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, we ask you not to register. We are doing all we can to align with best practices and keep our community healthy.
