A Leadership Journey’s Cultural Exploration & Education Program has an amazing opportunity to help support our Travel Component of the program with this role. The goals of this role is to research potential partners both domestic and international; to research local activities in these areas that fall in line with our goals; to create a database that will list all of the findings. Supporting our youth and their travel experiences is extremely important to the success of this organization and their future. Between June 1st and August 31st, you will be able to connect with our youth, begin to build relationships with them, connect with the leadership team and learn more about our work. Location: Work from Home. 

Start Date: July 1st 

Duration: August 31st

Schedule: Monday-Friday 4 hours a day (20 hours a week) and 4 bi-weekly check-ins with CEO

Hourly Wage: $13.80 an hour

Volunteer Description: The CEEP Program Coordinator will:

  • Research international schools, community programs, community organizations and activities for ALJ youth participants to when traveling (the country will be given during orientation)

  • Research schools in the designated State, community programs, community organizations and activities for ALJ youth participants to when traveling (the state will be given during orientation)

  • Create a living legacy document with all of the International school, programs, and activities

  • Create a living legacy document with all of the schools, programs, and activities listed from said state

  • Communicate with potential partners our goal for visiting 

  • Coordinate our agenda with potential partners

  • Attend at least one team call a month


  • Orientation will consist of scheduling a one on one call with the CEO prior to beginning the role. During this orientation you will learn more about the organization, receive more direction about responsibilities and receive a breakdown of our programming. 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • General understanding of racial and social injustice issues, inequities that hinders BIPOC communities, and systems of oppression

  • Excellent research skills; ability to navigate online directories and databases with ease 

  • Maintain collaborative relationships with staff and youth participants

  • Positive, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational and follow up skills

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • A passion and commitment to support the youth community and their future
