About

The Amazing Race of Hope

The UIW community is invited to participate in the annual Amazing Race of Hope from April 23-25 hosted by CAVALRY, a non-profit organization founded by H-E-B School of Business and Administration faculty, Dr. Tracie Edmond. The mission of CAVALRY is to “create an army of student servant-leaders collaborating with area businesses and local non-profit organizations to impact lives and positively change the world.”

This year’s race will be held virtually using a scavenger hunt app, Goose Chase, to complete challenges, mini service projects, and random acts of kindness. Raised funds will benefit a local small business or local non-profit organization.
