18th Annual Buffalo Headwaters Challenge

Thursday, February 9th from 12:00pm to Sunday, February 12th, 2023 3:00pm

About

The Ozark Off Road Cyclists (OORC) are happy to bring you the 18th Annual Buffalo Headwaters Challenge Mountain Bike Festival Feb 10th through the 12th, 2023 in Red Star, Arkansas. Come celebrate mountain biking in the Arkansas Ozarks with your people.
Featuring the Upper Buffalo Mountain Bike Trail System, an IMBA EPIC,  downhill trails at the Buffalo Outdoor Center, and some of the best gravel roads in the state, the Buffalo Headwaters Challenge is a wintertime classic!

We have several volunteer opportunities throughout the weekend.

All volunteers, rider and non-rider will have to sign a waiver and check in at registration to participate. From there you will receive information at the volunteer table regarding your shift time, meeting place and shift captain.

You will receive an email from givepulse after the event asking to confirm your impact.  Please respond to this email as tracking volunteer efforts are critical to organizations like the OORC.

Checkout the list of opportunities and signup today. We'll see you at the Headwaters!

Note: There is very little (none really) cell service on the event grounds so plan on an amazing weekend off the grid. Cell service can be found just a 5 minute drive away though so if it is critical to check-in with civilization you'll be able to.

Also, no pets or smoking of any kind on event grounds. We are guest to the Headwaters community and have been asked to see that we adhere to the policies and rules put in place for everyone's health and safety.
