Oak Ridge Trail Cleanup

With the upcoming construction of mountain bike trails around the Oak Ridge Trail by Progressive Trail Design, there is a need to clean up the hillsides adjacent to the trail. We will focus on cleaning up trash, recyclables, and moving some brush so please come prepared with close-toed shoes, pants, and a long-sleeved shirt. The Office for Sustainability will be providing trash bags, work gloves, and water, but we encourage you to bring your own water bottles as well! Plan to meet at the Office for Sustainability at 4:45 pm and we will walk over to the Oak Ridge Trail around 5 pm. This volunteer opportunity will be a great way to usher in new pedestrian paths and gateway style mountain bike trails on the University of Arkansas campus!
