Know Your Rights Presentation to High School Students (One Time Event)
Law students will present 7 topics from the Arkansas Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Handbook, “18 and Life to Go: A Legal Handbook for Young Arkansans.” Students can create their own presentation from the book, or can read from the book. Know-your rights presentation topics include Money Matters, Working, Criminal Law, Family Law Matters, Social Media Do’s and Don’t, The Price of Independence (this part of the book covers guns, alcohol, drugs etc), and Cars: Buying them, wrecks, run-ins along the way.
Date and time: 8am-12pm, Nov. 9 (additional time required to prepare presentation)
Location: ALLPS School of Innovation (in Fayetteville)
Eligibility: All students are eligible. Rule XV certification not required. No prior training required.
