VOLUNTEERS

Magdalene Serenity House has a wide variety of volunteer opportunities for students seeking volunteer hours for classes, clubs, or simply an interest in learning more about our non-profit and the women we serve.  Because we are a residential facility, we need volunteers year round, weekends, holidays, during the week etc.  You would have the advantage of learning how a residential program & non-profit operate, engaging with the residents and the journey of recovery, learning about community resources and taking part in event planning, and gardening! 
Common volunteer needs: transporting residents to and from appointments (volunteer will need personal vehicle), monitoring weekend visitations, promoting & working events, and helping to maintain our garden. 
All volunteers will be required to complete a volunteer application, background check, and a 1 hour training.
