The Department of Mathematical Sciences is committed to excellence in teaching, research and service to the State of Arkansas, supporting a central role in the mission of the University of Arkansas with 27 tenured and tenure-track faculty members, more than 50 graduate assistants and 150 mathematics majors. Regardless of major or program, each year more than 5,000 students take math coursework on campus.
