On October 28th, the University of Arkansas and NWA community will unite for Make a Difference Day, one of the largest annual single-days of service nationwide! This has been a University of Arkansas tradition for over 20 years! VAC Student Engagement partners with local agencies to host a variety of service projects. Last year, we had over 70 projects, more than 1,100 volunteers with 3,400 hours, which resulted with an economic impact of $78,447.
Please join us in this University tradition and help students give back to our community on the biggest service day in Northwest Arkansas! If you have any questions, feel free to contact Nicole Bavon with the Volunteer Action Center!
Make a Difference Day Volunteers:
Thank you so much for joining us on this exciting day of service! On Saturday, October 28th, MADD Kick-Off will be held in The Gardens. If your project is in Bentonville/Rogers/Springdale you will arrive to kickoff at 8:45am. All Fayetteville projects will arrive to kickoff at 9:00. We ask that all volunteers arrive at Kick-Off prior to their project start time to sign waivers, receive t-shirts, enjoy a free breakfast, and meet up with your group! Once you find your group, please be sure to leave at least 30 minutes prior to your project start time.
