Move-In is a fun event that brings faculty, staff, registered student organizations and the community together. We depend on the hard work and smiling faces of volunteers during Move-In. Each year, students and their families rave about our fantastic volunteers and the welcoming atmosphere of the University of Arkansas. We look forward to a great beginning for our newest Razorbacks and hope you will join us during the Move-In experience.
To register as a volunteer for Move-In 2021, please go to the "Events" tab and sign up for your shift(s). The last day to register for Volunteering is Friday, August 6, at 11:59 p.m. Please note: volunteers must be 16 years of age or older.
Volunteers will receive a Move-In hat, a meal ticket to use at a dining hall on campus (to be used upon completion of their assigned volunteer shift, and the satisfaction of meeting a student and helping them move into their campus home.
University Housing respects and values our University of Arkansas and Fayetteville partners and community members. Volunteers are essential to the move in process, and we know that our students would not have the best experience without your participation and hard work. While much of the work is physical and in hot conditions, we believe that this first contact with students sets an example for the rest of students' time at UA. By meeting and appreciating the hard work our campus and community partners put in, students and families will feel cared for and understand that we are a collaborative community.
