Description | To kick off Mile High United Way's Social Justice Fund - Capacity Building series, attorneys from Davis Graham & Stubbs will share insights about key employment law issues, fiduciary duties, and needed governing documents.
Session One-Key Employment Law Issues, led by Sterling LeBoeuf: Sterling will cover the pay equity laws that recently went into effect in Colorado as well as various COVID return-to-work considerations. Session Two-Fiduciary Duties and Governing Documents, led by Rachel James: Rachel will provide a discussion of fiduciary duties how they can be addressed in exempt organization governing documents. Peter Schwartz (moderator) is a partner in the Finance & Acquisitions Department of Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP. Mr. Schwartz’s principal areas of practice include: corporate finance; public and private securities offerings; merger and acquisition transactions for public and private companies; and private equity and other alternative asset fund formation, mutual funds, and investment advisers. He also counsels traditional for-profit, public benefit, and nonprofit clients on compliance and disclosure issues, as well as on general corporate and governance issues. |
