Description

When I was 14 years old, one day I saw a painting by Maxfield Parrish, it had a melody in it, a golden hue! That painting was like an afternoon with red and golden glows of a sky-full clouds from the setting sun! Coincidentally, that was an afternoon when I saw that painting , the sky turned suddenly red. I spent that whole afternoon looking at the painting for a while, and next looking at the sky around me. I was struck by this beauty of nature and how we can extract that beauty in art. My artistic thinking was defined for the rest of my life from that evening, I close my eyes and think of the world as a Parrishian painting and that keeps me sunk in hours of ecstatic delight.
