SUST 1103: Foundations of Sustainability

I volunteered at First Presbyterian Church in Springdale, a local church in my community. I ran the audio and video systems that help broadcast our Sunday morning worship service live on YouTube. This promotes sustainability within the community by reducing the number of cars that must drive to the church to see the worship service. By reducing the number of cars coming to the church we are helping reduce the carbon emissions of the community while simultaneously providing free access to God's word to anyone who wants it. This service is invaluable to older member of the church who are home-bound with physical health issues, and cannot attend church regularly.
