My friends and I went to Saint Thomas in the morning to help load stuff from the church to the storage unit.

I help set up for the Homecoming/Farewell event at the church for 10/21

As homecoming chair I planned two shifts of service hours from 4:30-7:30 at Leverett Elementary School. We helped cook food for their ethnic night, played with the children there and greeted visitors, and cleaned up afterwards.

Over Thanksgiving break, I went into the woods in my yard and in the surrounding neighborhood and picked up trash and recyclable items that were thrown, dropped, or spilt on the ground. I used to pick up trash at home during the summer when I lived at home so it was nice to do it again and make my yard/woods look cleaner.

I went to go pick up trash on the trails and just in the woods at Lake Fayetteville. I like nature so I enjoyed doing this especially because it was a nice day out.

This was my first time volunteering with the Salvation Army and a thrift store in general and I enjoyed it. I worked in retail this past summer and hanging up and tagging clothes reminded me much of that.
