I volunteered at Northwest Health Hospital in Springdale. I had 4 hours shifts where I would answer call lights, the phone, and work with nurses.

I was on a nursing floor in the Northwest Health Hospital in Springdale. I answered call lights, communicated with nurses on what patients asked for, and made small errands for nurses.
I helped answer the phone, transfer calls to nurses, and answered call lights for patients. I loved working with the nurses on the floor and learning more about the profession I am entering.
I made 5 cards to thank veterans for their service in honor of Veteran’s Day.
I helped sort and package foods in the UAMS food pantry for those in need.
I donated canned and boxed goods for the annual homecoming can food drive.
I helped fill bags with food, water, and sanitary items for those in need. I also helped organize the downstairs area of the church.
I donated $5 to the VAC to help children receive books.
I jogged and walked with a member of Achilles Arkansas and another guide. Everyone was very welcoming, and I had a great time meeting them.
I packed boxes with foods for those who are in need and restocked boxes for the next volunteering session. I loved how nice and welcoming the other volunteers were especially since it was my first time volunteering there.
