I participated in The American Red Cross's Blood Drive that took place at the Delta Gamma Sorority House. It is very important to me that we work towards lessening the shortage of blood in the Northwest Arkansas Area, and this event which was organized by Cassidy Watkins was a great way to do so within the University of Arkansas community.
Several of my pledge brothers and I volunteered for Jane B. Gearhart's Food Pantry located on Stadium. I was in charge of organizing food donations based on packaging type, and storing it in a way that it can be easily distributed to the community in the near future. It was a very positive experience and the employees were extremely nice and respectful to us.
I participated in our Philanthropy event "DunkFest" and donated an additional 20$ to contribute towards my Community Service hours.
I donated 4 hours worth of cereal boxes for our initiative.
I participated in the American Red Cross Blood Drive that took place in the Union. There is a nationwide shortage of blood at the moment and I am grateful that I was able to donate my time and blood to an important current cause that is affecting people nationwide.
I attended the Zeta Tao Alpha "Zinnamon Rollz" fundraiser to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Me and a group of my Pledge Brothers volunteered for the Kids After School Program with Lifesource. I was in charge of helping organize and stock various food products in the warehouse. On top of that, we tutored the kids with schoolwork and got to hang out with them during their recess time. Overall I had a great experience and will definitely be interested in doing it again.
