I really enjoyed helping manage the kids zone. It was fun to interact with the kids who came, and seeing them having so much fun put a smile on my face! I managed the pool noodle section of the course and made it so that the kids on the bikes could duck under it as an obstacle.

It was fun and interesting to help set up the bike zone. I helped set up the course and tents! I think it is really cool that these organizations put so much effort into these things. Everyone was super nice and I was excited to come back and help on Sunday.

I wrote letters to healthcare workers at the NWA Center for Sexual Assault! I thanked them for their caring hearts because they work so hard to help others, especially during a pandemic.

I said goodbye to my reading buddy! I wish we could have met in person, but I still had so much fun.

This was the time I spent preparing for our presentation and family engagement night. I wanted to make sure that the slides I put together were accurate and easy to read so that parents could understand. I looked through my textbook for another class to find facts about how parental involvement in education increases a child's success.

I drove onto campus and printed off all of my thank you cards!
