As a student ambassador, I am responsible for giving campus tours twice a week with the Office of Admissions. I really enjoy being a student ambassador since I get to help be apart of recruiting and I get to meet many different kinds of people.
I went to an internship webinar to learn more about interview skill and how to research different opportunities within my career and major. I met with Louise Hancock over zoom and we learned more about career opportunities within the university.
I voted in the 2020 federal and state election.
During A-Week, I was an A-Week mentor and I was met with a small group of freshman 3-4 times during the week. I also volunteered at multiple stations and cardinal nights on Friday night. The main objective of A-Week is to help freshman and new students get familiar with the university and to meet new people
I enjoyed exposing children to STEM concepts and making science very relatable. We made DIY Lava Lamps and the kids were taught about density and polarity!
