Ms. Kristina Jones was so kind and easy to work with to set up my cleanup and volunteer hours. I have been noticing the growing litter problem in the blocks around my apartment where I usually walk my dog and am grateful for the opportunity to get volunteer hours for doing something about this!
What a sweet, special honor to get to work with newly official attorney and long-time Arkansas Free Legal Answers organizer Mrs. Edith Chavez in her first session as a licensed attorney, leading our student group in answering a submitted question!
Such a pleasure learning and growing with Legal Aid and getting to serve the underserved in our community alongside my peers.
Legal Aid training is always so insightful; I appreciate how concrete they make it so it's easy to use to do the clinic work! So blessed to have them in our area!
I was blessed to get to work with attorneys Mary Green and Paul Bowen and some other law students to problem solve indigent Arkansans's legal issues!
Any chance to volunteer with legal aid is always amazing! We were able to serve more than 10 clients and help them move forward into an identity they feel is their own. It was so beautiful and empowering.
I loved working with other law students and supervising attorney Paul to provide free legal answers to low income Arkansans! We worked on a variety of different scenarios from Housing to family law to employment law, and it was really interesting to talk through different possible outcomes.
always a good time helping out with AAJ! :)
Aw, Grace thank you, that's so nice of you. Appreciate you sleuthing out spots ahead of time- it helps us out tremendously, and obviously that area needed some love. Also, please extend our thanks to your cute pupper for the help (and for jazzing up the photos!) :)
