2 service hours for 10 travel sized items for Global Brigades - super easy and impactful. Left them in the Chi-O kitchen so a member can hand them off!
Art for the heart service event with NWA Capernaum!! 6-7:30 pm in order to make art with Capernaum members and raise money for kids to go to camp!

Tuesday, August 29th from 6-7:30. This event was really fun and kick started the new year with the YoungLife Capernaum Kids. This was a kickoff picnic in the park, played games, ate snacks and talked about our summers and the new semester.
This semester, i have donated over 30 meals with Vizer. Moving 45 minutes allows for them to donate a meal back to combat world hunger. In the past, i have been able to use 2 of these for community service! I definitely recommend.
Walked around Fayetteville (Wilson park, razorback greenway, around stadium,etc) and picked up trash! After row there was SO MUCH trash, such an easy way to spend time making a bit of an impact.
The talent show was from 5-7, and it started with an art sale, where you could buy the items that were donated, where the money was donated to help the kids go to camp, and the second hour was the actual talent show! So fulfilling being able to show support to these kids!
Walked around Wilson park, Razorback Greenway, campus, and Dickson while I picked up trash!
Water colored, used coloring books, really all things creative with the Capernaum kids! It was more focused on showing off their skills rather than ours, but still so fun! Highly recommend and super fulfilling!
