Anna Haynes

I spent the day volunteering with my church, First Presbyterian Church of Yellville, AR. We endeavored to spring clean the church, as well as the property surrounding the church and our life-size labyrinth. We also conducted our biannual highway clean up, where we picked up trash on a 1-mile stretch of highway just past the church. The day was filled with fun and worshipping together with my community!

I gave 1 hour to Pi Phi when I attended their philanthropy event: Pi Phi Pizookie!

I attended Phi Mu's philanthropy event: Miracle Man! I donated $5 to purchase a ticket and attended the performances! It was a great time giving back to the Arkansas Dance Marathon!

I completed the ASG Student Poll survey!

I volunteered my time serving patients as a patient companion! I listened to their stories and lent a hand to CNAs/Nurses who needed it while in the patient's room! I had a great time comforting ailing patients in the hospital!

I carved a pumpkin for my hometown's elementary school fall festival! These pumpkins were judged and auctioned off to raise money for the elementary school!

I picked up trash for my hometown church during our Bi-Annual highway trash clean up!

I volunteered with my hometown church, First Presbyterian Church of Yellville hiding Easter eggs for the annual Easter egg hunt. I also ran the booth for the church and passed out pencils, bookmarks, and pamphlets for our church. We also passed out Easter goodies to fill the Easter baskets for the kids. I also helped clean up after the event was over. Attached is a picture of me and other youths in my church group with the Easter bunny. It was a great time spent with my community serving the kids!

I went to the Arkansas Dance Marathon meeting and made Valentine's Day Cards for the children in the hospital. I wrote notes in the cards and stuffed them with jolly ranchers (candy) to be passed out to the kids on Valentine's Day.
