Sunday Recycling Sorters | SP'25

I sorted and categorized cardboard, paper, and trash. At the end, I flattened cardboard and put them into the compression machine.

Same events as the previous review!

I worked with the Arkansas Union to sort recyclable goods as part of the university’s sustainability initiative. This effort supported the campus community by reducing waste and promoting environmentally responsible practices. My contribution helped ensure that recyclable materials were properly processed rather than sent to landfills. From this experience, I gained a stronger understanding of how small actions can support long-term environmental goals and foster a more sustainable campus.

Helped with the Arkansas Union Sustainability team during the Sundy Cycling Sorters event to sort trash for proper recycling. Overall, I had a great experience, and I enjoyed meeting the team and seeing their operation.

It was a great time volunteering! Will definitely be coming back!
