Support waste diversion efforts by helping implement and manage recycling strategies during events and daily operations at the Arkansas Union. These volunteers sort plastic, paper, and food waste to ensure proper recycling and composting. They accurately log data related to waste sorting activities, including quantities and types of materials processed, to help track and improve sustainability initiatives.

Greetings,
My name is Carter Schwieterman, and I am one of the volunteer leaders for this event. Please meet us in the Flag Room, located just past the entrance of the UARK Union. I will be wearing blue gloves and a green hat for easy identification.
From there, we will guide you to the recycling sorting center. If you have any questions about the Sustainability Program or would like to learn more about our initiatives, feel free to ask. We’re happy to share more about our efforts and how you can get involved.
